Brandon and Nataly were married on a sunny afternoon overlooking Crystal Springs Reservoir. They were joined by 30 of their family and friends, and the couple looked phenomenal. There were tons of moments throughout the day that resulted in uncontrollable laughter. What an amazing couple they make and it was an honor to be part of their celebration. Music and food. These were the priorities for David and Krystal when they planned their wedding. Both were present in copious amounts and both were amazing beyond words! We started at San Francisco's Buena Vista Park and ended up at the Cafe du Nord for the wedding festivities. There was a buffet with all sorts of tasty choices while David emceed the evening from behind his guitar on stage. David's band had a rocking line up of songs and some talented guest players making for a fun dance floor!

I had the greatest time with this fun-loving couple!

Whitney and her bridesmaids got ready for the big day in the smallest room known to humankind, but that didn't diminish their excitement and laughter. 

The guys took a different approach. A little football and some running around was the perfect cure for wedding day nerves. I'm just glad no one ripped their pants. 

There were some great details around the Mountain Terrace and the weather during the middle of the day was gorgeous. The clouds stayed away just long enough to get through the group shots and the ceremony. Phew! Thank you, clouds!

Once the ladies were ready, Whitney came out to give Paul his first look at her. It was a beautiful moment - full of joy (and a couple of tears). 

I had a great time with the bridesmaids and there's even a shot where they posed like the ladies of the Bridesmaids Movie. See the comparison below.

Last weekend, Marc and Sheryl tied the knot! With lovely families on both sides, they were surrounded by Sheryl's sons and Marc's daughters. The grandchildren were a constant swirl of activity and it brought a broad smile to anyone lucky enough to witness it. These two love birds had their friends and family join them for their wedding at the elegant Oceano Hotel and Spa in Half Moon Bay, CA. 

A good friend, Pastor Mary Graves, led a beautiful ceremony and it was well documented by the army of  iPhone users. I love this photo of a someone taking a photo of someone else taking a photo.

I'm very excited for this wedding to happen! As a wedding photographer, it's always a special privilege to shoot a friend's big day. I happen to love these two people dearly and think they're amazing so when we took these photos it was hard to not succumb to the cuteness that I was photographing. They laugh and enjoy each other no matter the circumstance and it came through in the photos. We shot the whole afternoon in Tilden Regional Park and finished the shoot looking over the bay from the UC Berkeley's Lawrence Hall of Science. With a sunset like that, we were reminded of how beautiful the Bay Area can be. Congrats to my friends, Nick and Madeline. I can't wait for the wedding!

It was a beautiful day and we narrowly escaped the rain by about an hour. The first drops were lightly felt during the veil shot below and the next shot is us running for cover. I had an amazing time with this fun-loving couple! Congrats to Paul and Whitney! More photos to come.

Hi everyone!  Here are a couple shots from Nick and Madeline's recent engagement shoot. I can't tell you how much I love these shots!! I'm so excited to share the rest with you!

Kevin and Brittany have been dating for a few years now and have finally decided to tie the knot later this year. When I say "a few years", I actually mean that they have been dating since the 8th grade and have known each other since kindergarten. So this little engagement has been a long time in the making!  Needless to say, I was excited to photograph them and their four legged friend, Kivi, at Stanford University. We went exploring all over the campus and had a grand time. We even caught the afternoon light as it faded away over the trees. Congrats to both of you and all the best in your coming wedding!

Oh yeah! Danny and Kirsten are engaged! It's about time. They have been dating for quite a while and we're all excited for the upcoming wedding. We visited Harley Farm in Pescadero, CA where there was tons of friendly goats and amazing cheeses. We explored the upstairs dining room as well as the barn. Then we went to Pescadero State Beach right as the sun was setting. The light was gorgeous and we managed to take lots of fun shots just as the sun sank below the horizon. Can't wait for their wedding and congratulations to both of you!

Si and Quyen had traditional Chinese ceremonies and then went out with a bang at their evening reception in Oakland's Peony Restaurant.  Five hundred loving friends and family joined them at their celebration!  Huge congratulations to you both!

What a fantastic day! David and Nathalie's families came together for a morning tea ceremony at Nathalie's parent's house, then rushed off to the traditional church wedding ceremony at the Church of the Nativity in Menlo Park, and then off again to another family ceremony with David's family! What an amazing opportunity to see two families working together to celebrate this union! If you thought that concluded the day, you thought wrong! The bridal party then went gallivanting around Stanford University before their grand entrance at the reception held in the ball room of San Francisco's Hotel Nikko. The night was filled with amazing moments like a home made music video set to the tune of "Call Me Maybe" by Nathalie's sister.  So many good times and huge congratulations to David and Nathalie!

Ben and Tiffany were "fun-nominal". They had streamer sticks, candy bar, converse shoes, a guest book of cloth that will later be made into a quilt, a coordinated first dance, even some Gangnam style. Quite a big crowd joined them for their wedding at the Dublin Ranch Golf Course. For their couple shots, we caught the light before it dipped behind the houses. It gave us beautiful golden highlights that made their couple shots gorgeous! Thanks again for having me at your wedding and congratulations! 

Mike & Melissa were out to have fun on their wedding day! Mission accomplished. This couple laughed throughout the day and were determined to enjoy every moment of it. The highlight was most definitely the scooters!  YES, I said scooters! They sped their way across town and even onto the UC Berkeley campus. Here are a couple shots from their day.  I can't wait to share the rest!

Matt & Casey are an incredibly sweet couple! They got married at the Art & Garden Center in San Mateo! The tall green trees and the placid koi pond reflected their love for nature while their cake reflected their other passion. But this is a teaser, so you won't see the cake until the their full wedding blog post. :) Until then, I hope you enjoy these teaser shots. 

Nathan and Kassie had their wedding at a beautiful manor and farmhouse in Santa Rosa, CA that sat next to a gorgeous vineyard.  The red barn, giant rocking horse, twinkling reception lights, and vintage Cadillac made for an amazing day!

From the bride to the groom, from the high outlook above the city to the intricately designed cacti centerpieces, every last detail was gorgeous.  Steve and Alia's wedding included grand views from the top of the hill, the Sesnon mansion-house, elegant decorations, and a phenomenal choreographed first dance.  Their friends and relatives were a joy to photograph and rub elbows with and you would be hard pressed to find a couple as relaxed as Alia and Steve on their wedding day!  Many thanks for having me join you on your big day!
