First Ever Wedding at Berkeley Memorial Stadium | Teaser
Jenni and Gabe's marriage vows made history this weekend from Berkeley's Memorial Stadium plaza. They are the first couple to ever be married at the UC Berkeley's football stadium and in light of it's gorgeous renovation there will likely be many more. From the plaza, to the Cal student cheering section, to the banquet room above the press box, the stadium is a stunning place to get married.
Surrounding by loved ones, Jenni and Gabe tied the knot amidst the trees of the stadium plaza. The recessional's confetti poppers fueled the party atmosphere and fanned everyone's excitement. Their energy was electric and we had an amazing time photographing all over the stadium.
The bride and groom rendezvoused with their friends and family at the reception which was located at the top of the stadium above the press box. The banquet hall was a long room with walls of windows ran the length of both sides. You could look out one side to see the Cal football field or go to balcony side to experience the jaw-dropping view of the bay. The only obstructions to the view are the International House's beautiful dome and Berkeley's iconic Campanile.
